Barbara Logan, DNP, FNP-BC, PMHNP-BC, has lived in the Indianapolis/Carmel area since 1992. She has almost forty years of experience in the healthcare field with a diverse range of experiences. She sees patients for psychopharmacology medication evaluations and follow-up care. She emphasizes the mental health benefits of proper sleep, a nutritious diet, regular physical activity, and healthy relationships. Barbara’s friendly and enthusiastic style helps patients feel at ease. She is married and has five adult children. In her free time, she enjoys gardening and hiking.

Coding is determined complexity and/or total time inclusive of the following:

  • Preparing to see the patient (eg, review of tests)
  • Obtaining and/or reviewing separately obtained history
  • Performing a medically appropriate examination and/or evaluation
  • Counseling and educating the patient/family/caregiver
  • Ordering medications, tests, or procedures
  • Referring and communicating with other health care professionals
  • Documenting clinical information in the electronic or other health record
  • Independently interpreting results and communicating results to the patient/ family/caregiver
  • Care coordination
