Personal Bio
Seth Kleiman, LMHC, is an Indianapolis native and a graduate of Park Tudor School, Grinnell College, and Northwestern University. With over 25 years of clinical experience, he has been practicing at Indiana Health Group since 2007.
Seth’s energetic and upbeat style leads to an effective and productive therapeutic relationship. He incorporates clinically appropriate theoretical concepts with active learning opportunities. Such an approach is valuable for young people because it empowers them to take ownership of and learn from their actions and behaviors in real-time.
Seth utilizes a variety of activities as teaching tools in the standard office-based setting and outdoors (nature hikes, basketball, fishing, football, etc.). As a former college athlete, Seth works with numerous travel, high school, and collegiate athletes to address issues related to performance anxiety, anger, and communication skills. In addition, Seth also offers parent counseling/coaching to assist parents in learning ways to most effectively guide and teach their children to grow into successful, healthy adults.
In his free time, Seth is an avid sports fan and hiker/runner and enjoys spending quality time with his wife, daughter, and son.
