Personal Bio

My practice has always focused on improving the quality of life of the kids and teens that I treat. Though I have specialized in children’s mental health care, I have been trained and work with adults as well. Regardless of whether I am treating a young person or an adult, I am always considering the mutual impact of and on the individual’s family. I also work with and give parenting advice to the parents of the youngsters I see.

My graduate training included two years working in a public school for emotionally disabled students. As a consequence I consider the impact of school on my young patients as very important and often collaborate with school staff.

Though I treat many different issues, I have developed specialties in evaluating and treating people of all ages with ADHD and/or Autism. I am a native New Yorker but have been a Hoosier for 40+ years. My wife and I have been married for 42 years. We have two daughters Whitney and Carrie who are now in their 30s. Mission accomplished. No grandchildren yet but our three silky terriers keep us busy enough!

PLEASE NOTE: Dr. Jones will no longer be participating with insurance networks effective January 1, 2023. For additional details CLICK HERE to access a copy of the original letter.
