Seeking mental health care for yourself or your child can feel overwhelming. You may be concerned about your child’s emotions or behavior, navigating conflict with your teen, or struggling with your own mental health. My goal is to help you feel heard, respected, and comfortable from the beginning—and to make daily life feel more manageable.

I am an ANCC board-certified Clinical Nurse Specialist in Child/Adolescent Mental Health. I provide individualized medication management for children, adolescents, and adults, with a special passion for helping young people and families. My areas of focus include ADHD, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, autism-related concerns, and anger. I also help children and parents navigate conflict and develop a better understanding of one another.

My approach starts with getting to know you. At our first appointment, we’ll review your history, discuss the concerns that brought you in, and talk about what you hope will change. I’ll explain your treatment options, answer your questions, and work with you to create a plan that fits your needs, preferences, and daily life. Every patient deserves a voice in their care, including children and teens.

Medication can be a valuable part of treatment, and its role should be thoughtful and individualized. We’ll regularly review how you’re feeling, whether treatment is helping, and what adjustments may be appropriate. For some patients, medication provides ongoing support; for others, reducing it may become an option as their needs change and stability improves.

Before entering the mental health field, I served eight years in the United States Air Force, including time in England, where I played rugby. Those experiences shaped my appreciation for teamwork, resilience, and connecting with people from different backgrounds. Outside the office, I enjoy family time, sports, documentaries, and dogs—I’m always happy to hear about your four-legged family members.

I offer in-office appointments at Indiana Health Group in Carmel and telehealth appointments, with evening availability. You don’t need to have everything figured out before we meet. I welcome the opportunity to hear your story and help you take the next step toward feeling better.
