Personal Bio
Scott Minnich, LCSW, specializes in working with adolescent and adult men, as well as couples seeking to strengthen their relationships. He helps clients navigate anxiety, depression, stress, communication challenges, life transitions, and relationship difficulties.
Scott believes that growth occurs when people are empowered to understand their experiences, build on their strengths, and make intentional changes. Using a collaborative, strength-based approach grounded in CBT and informed by DBT principles, he helps clients develop practical tools that create lasting change.
Understanding the demands of work, school, and family life, Scott offers evening and weekend appointments. A lifelong resident of the area and graduate of Carmel High School, he enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and three children.
“Worrying does not empty tomorrow of its troubles. It empties today of its strength.” — Corrie Ten Boom
Late Arrival Policy: I would like to remind clients that sessions are to start at their scheduled start time. I recognize that there are days when I run a few moments behind. However, every appointment slot has one hour allocated to it. This hour includes document preparation and review — as such, the face-to-face portion of those hour sessions lasts 53 minutes.
Any client arriving more than 15 minutes late (in-person or virtually) will be rescheduled and billed as a late cancellation (which is the session fee).
