Personal Bio

Michelle is a highly qualified therapist who grew up in the Indianapolis area. She graduated with honors from Butler University, where she studied sociology and criminal justice, specializing in social work and social policy. She then completed her Master of Social Work degree from Indiana University in Indianapolis. Michelle has over 25 years of experience in helping people find a healthy balance in life. She enjoys working with individuals of all ages, families, and couples in a supportive and nurturing environment. Michelle believes that learning new skills to cope with life’s stressors can benefit everyone while feeling encouraged and supported (and that fun and laughter are essential to healing as well!)

Michelle has extensive experience in treating mood disorders, anxiety disorders, substance use disorders, and neurodevelopmental disorders such as Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). She is an ADHD Certified Clinical Services Provider and understands the importance of building executive functioning skills, psychoeducation, and advocacy for patients and their loved ones.

In her spare time, Michelle enjoys being with family and friends, appreciating nature, and volunteering with animal rescues.
