Personal Bio

I am an Indianapolis native and a graduate of Pike High School. I attended Hanover College, where I earned my bachelor’s degree in Psychology. After graduation, I worked as a Probation Officer with the Marion County Juvenile Court before returning to Indiana University to earn my Master’s in Social Work.

I have more than 20 years of clinical experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. One of my specialty areas is Autism Spectrum Disorder, and I enjoy helping individuals and families better understand their strengths, navigate challenges, and build the skills needed to thrive.

I consider myself empathetic, approachable, and down-to-earth. I believe that building a strong therapeutic relationship is one of the most important parts of the counseling process. My goal is to create a safe, supportive environment where you feel comfortable sharing your experiences. I tailor my approach to meet your unique needs, drawing from a variety of evidence-based treatment methods to help you reach your goals and achieve your full potential.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my daughter and fiancé. I’m a devoted dog lover—especially when it comes to golden retrievers—and I also enjoy walking, watching movies, playing the piano, and traveling to warm destinations.
