Personal Bio

I believe therapy should feel like a place where you can truly be yourself. With more than 20 years of experience as a mental health therapist, I strive to create a welcoming, relaxed, and supportive environment where you feel safe, understood, and accepted. My role is to meet you where you are and help you move toward meaningful, lasting change at a pace that feels right for you.

As a Registered Art Therapist, I offer creative approaches that can help when words aren’t enough. Using mediums such as painting, drawing, clay, and collage, art therapy provides a unique way to explore emotions, process experiences, build insight, and promote healing. If a traditional approach is a better fit for you, I also provide talk therapy. Together, we’ll find the style that feels most comfortable—whether that’s sitting on the couch, creating art, playing a game, or even taking a peaceful walk on the outdoor trails. Therapy should fit you, not the other way around.

I consider it a privilege to walk alongside my clients as they discover their strengths, overcome life’s challenges, and create the life they want to live. My goal is for you to leave each session feeling supported, encouraged, and hopeful, knowing you have a trusted partner invested in your growth and well-being.

Outside of the therapy office, I enjoy spending time outdoors, hiking scenic trails and appreciating nature. I love being with my family, friends, and my dog, and I enjoy creative hobbies that help me recharge. Like many people, I also appreciate relaxing with a good book or a Netflix series. I believe maintaining balance, creativity, and connection in my own life allows me to bring authenticity, presence, and compassion to every client relationship.
