CPT – Cognitive Processing Therapy

Personal Bio

I am licensed in mental health and addictions counseling. I have 14 years of experience, in a variety of settings including inpatient and outpatient, and I am experienced in individual, marital, group, and family therapy. I specialize in addictions/substance abuse, and also offer many skills to help manage anxiety and depression. I use evidence-based treatments such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and cognitive processing therapy (CPT). CPT is effective for PTSD, and can be helpful in other cognition work. I believe each person has unique needs and wants, so I individualize therapy and use a variety of treatment modalities including mindfulness and solution-focused practices. This is your time, and it is important that you have a safe space for growth and change. I am ready to meet you where you are at, and help guide you in the changes you want to make in your life. In my time outside of work, I enjoy time with my 2 little boys and husband, and my dog. I also foster doggies for Heaven After Hell Rescue.
