Personal Bio
Feeling overwhelmed or exhausted from anxiety, life’s stressors, emotional pain, or physical pain? Know you are not alone. With effective therapeutic tools and a safe and supportive environment, you can find relief and better ways to cope with these challenges.
I believe therapy works best when you feel truly heard and understood. My goal is to provide a safe, supportive environment where you can talk openly about what is weighing on you. Therapy isn’t just about getting through tough moments; it is also about understanding yourself more fully and creating the kind of life and relationships you want. In our work together, we will focus on building practical coping skills while also developing deeper insights into the patterns and experiences that influence your life. This combination can help you not only navigate current challenges, but also create lasting change and growth.
With over 15 years of experience, I have found an integrative therapeutic approach effective in order to tailor therapy to your needs. As part of the therapeutic process, I offer evidence-based educational materials and handouts tailored to each client’s needs, helping to build insight, reinforce therapeutic skills, and support progress outside of sessions. Many of the therapeutic techniques I use include Internal Family Systems and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy for anxiety and mood, Pain Reprocessing Therapy and Emotional Awareness and Expression Therapy for treating chronic pain, and Gottman Methods for couples therapy.
