Personal Bio

Jen Jansen, LCSW has over 25 years of varied clinical social work experience, including teaching and outreach for a cancer non-profit. She began her career in community mental health, working with children and families in a school environment. Her most recent training includes advanced Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Acceptance Commitment Therapy.  Jen works from a Positive Psychology framework and strives to help patients identify and lead with their strengths.

Jen is married with 3 children and a dog, Peppermint. She has traveled to Haiti twice and enjoys service projects. She also loves decorating, bike riding, art fairs and euchre. Two of Jen’s favorite quotes are “Let your life speak” and “That which we attend to strengthens.”
