Personal Bio

I believe that meaningful change begins with feeling truly seen, heard, and understood. My goal is to come alongside each person exactly where they are, offering acceptance, compassion, encouragement, and practical support as we work together toward lasting growth. Rather than simply providing answers, I help clients discover their own strengths, gain insight, and develop the confidence to create the life they want. At times, that also means gently challenging them to face fears, step outside their comfort zone, and move toward becoming the person they are meant to be.

I enjoy working with individuals facing a wide variety of mental health concerns, with a special passion for helping those who feel overwhelmed by anxious or unwanted thoughts and behaviors. I also have a heart for those who are seeking to deepen their spiritual life or incorporate their Christian faith into the healing process. For clients who desire it, I offer faith-based counseling that integrates emotional wellness with spiritual growth.

During your first appointment, we’ll spend time getting to know one another. I’ll explain what to expect from therapy, discuss confidentiality, talk about the roles we each play in the therapeutic process, and learn more about what has brought you to counseling. Together, we’ll begin identifying goals and developing a treatment plan that reflects your unique needs and hopes for the future.

My greatest hope is that you leave each session feeling heard, understood, encouraged, and empowered to begin making meaningful changes in your life. I often remind my clients that our emotions, behaviors, and attitudes begin with our thoughts. While we can’t always control what happens to us, we can learn to change how we respond. I also believe that life is a gift—we were created for more than simply surviving. Even during life’s most difficult seasons, healing, hope, peace, and joy are possible.

Outside of the office, I am the founder and president of Hoofprints to Hope, a nonprofit organization that uses horses to bring hope and healing to individuals facing emotional and mental health challenges. I also enjoy trail riding, hiking, reading, traveling, and spending quality time with family and friends.
