Personal Bio

Corey Falink, LMHC, has been a practicing mental health therapist for over twenty years. He uses an eclectic approach designed to address the patient’s particular needs. Corey has expressed that after twenty years of practice, he has a passion for helping others in their mental health journey.

Corey received his Master’s in Counseling at Cincinnati Christian University and completed his undergrad work at Anderson University. He is adept at using his Christian faith to help people from all stages of life address their concerns. Corey is not limited to Christian therapy only; he has learned how to help patients in a non-faith-based treatment style through his practice.

Corey’s favorite therapy styles include DBT, CBT, and Biblically based. Corey has years of experience working with couples and youth. He has a deep passion for helping at-risk families and youth. He strives to help marriages do the hard work to flourish and has helped mediate couples that have been unable to reconcile their differences. Corey has also helped adolescents and adults work through many forms of addiction, such as drug and alcohol, pornography, video games, and spending. As a former three-sport athlete, he has helped many to better reach their athletic competition goals by removing the barriers to their success.

Corey hopes to fit the needs of his patients, and he has learned to defer patients to a better fit for therapy if a connection has not been made or if he is not skilled in helping with the issues brought forth. His patients express that they enjoy his straightforward, person-centered approach. Corey has a way of helping his patients feel valued and leaves them with a sense of hope. His patients will not leave the session feeling uncared for. It is this care for others that has helped Corey to excel as a mental health therapist.
